Yes, that's Margaret Wheeler from the Pro Guiding website where she works as a ski mountaineering and rock climbing guide. Wow! Cool! It says on the site that "Margaret is one of two women in the US who is a UIAGM certified mountain guide." You go!It looks like Margaret gave an apparel review in '06 for Backcountry Magazine. Wow - fascinating! Margaret was always the athletic, outdoorsy type, so this fits her perfectly. And another HBHSer here in the Seattle area! Hey, it's some of the best hiking/camping/climbing country there is - Gladys and I were known to take a few backcountry backpacking trips in our pre-Simone days (now it's day hikes and car camping - still lots of fun!)
Who knows - maybe we'll run into Margaret on the trail one of these weekends?
