David Goodchild and, well, child

Or, I guess I should say children. But the title seemed amusing that way.
Dave and his wife now have triplets! Well, they are actually almost a year old now. They were born on 4/9/05 and they are called Arden, Owen, and Morgan.
He has posted some pix on the HBHS '93 yahoo group site. In case you haven't glimpsed them, here's a peek:

SOOO CUTE!

Other Friendster finds

Good finds, Gail! I joined Friendster earlier this month (my profile is here) and saw a few more old HBHS people:

Tami Redes '95
Tom Clough '94
Courtney Christensen '94
and I think this is Ashley Dennis '96

*Ben Damon
*David Day
*Elise Bjerk on Friendster and My Space
*Greg Nelson
*Jamie O'Connell
*Jessica Marderosian
*Kathy Lefebre

I'm sure there are many more on there... Feel free to add anyone you come across via comment or e-mail (gailany@yahoo.com). Now, what would be really great would be to put the yearbook photo next to the new one!!

Update about Coach K

Ryan sent this letter from Coach over to me (It was shared with the current students.):

"Coach wanted to let you know what is happening with his health. His most important words were I do not want the kids to be upset but I want to be honest with them. This is what coach wanted me to tell you: I have a reoccurring cancer that has come back. Right now my health is somewhat weak but I am determined and strong and I want you to know I will fight this. I have a lot going my way, I am thankful for my faith in God, I am thankful for the support of my family, friends and my kids at Hollis Brookline High School. I want to thank you all for all your cards, prayers and many kind words. I want you to know I am going to have a tough battle ahead, but I am going to fight this! I do not want you to dwell on sadness that will not help. I believe in the incredible power of the mind and we need to be positive. Positive emotions have a significant effect on how we see the world and what we do with ourselves. Everything happens for a reason, nothing by chance, they all occur to test the limits of our soul.
So I am looking for your support and positive energy, and I am expecting you to use this energy and let other students who are not here, know how strong and determined I am. I would like you guys to continue to work your hardest in academics, keep in shape, as the spring track season is right around the corner. I will be giving daily workouts to Mr. Boggis and Frank T. and expect a lot from this team this season. We are going to be a strong team and a tough team to beat. I certainly need all of you to be positive and strong, being positive always brings us inner strength. I have a new email address at home and would like to hear from all of you. My email address is coachkorcoulis@yahoo.com
Hope to hear from you soon.
Coach"

We all wish Coach our best!!

Jenn (Brown) Jernberg / Ann (Burgher) Lowne

Aww, I'll give the ol' blog some love.

I've found a couple of things by googling spouses' names. Here is a photo blog run by Jenn's husband Erik - there are some pictures of Jenn if you go back a couple of pages. Lots of pics of their cats, too.

I had found a picture in a newsletter of Ann, her husband Joel, and their two kids, but the link is broken now. He's a family physician in the Concord, NH area. I also found this transcript of a radio interview he did with NH Public Radio - if you scroll about 2/3 of the way down, it says "Lowne's wife is pregnant..." - looks like they're expecting (or have had) baby no. 3! (the interview is from December 2005)

Lastly, a little plug for me: I've started a blog of my own. Nothing, really... just some random musings and tracking the progress of my latest weight loss routine. And I'm updating my website fairly regularly - check for the last pics of Simone (she's 5 months old today - how time flies!)
